To meet the various needs, rules, and regulations of our customers, there are several types of lists you can sign up for. In this article, we explain what each list entails and how they can help you find the one that best suits your needs.
External list
A waiting list where you queue to be offered a home or a product. This is the most common list you will encounter at Waitly.
Internal list
A list for current owners or tenants who want to move to another home, e.g., a larger or smaller apartment. This list often has priority over the external list. Registration is done through the respective provider, and Waitly cannot send links for this.
Children's list
A list for children of owners or tenants in the association or rental housing. If you already live in one of the homes, you can check if your association offers a children's list. The rules may vary, so contact the association for exact terms and registration link.
- Children under 18 cannot have an account with Waitly and must therefore use their parents' account
- Not all associations approve children on their external list. This is indicated when a birthdate must be entered during registration.
- The price for registration is the same as for adults
If you do not live in the association yourself, or the one you live in does not have a separate children's list, the child is registered on an external list as follows:
- Find the list on Waitly's website that you want to register the child on
- Use your Waitly account for the registration, but with the child's name and birthdate
- When the child turns 18, contact Waitly Support to transfer the registration to the now adult's own Waitly account
Relation list
For people who have a relation to an owner or tenant in the association, such as a family member or a friend. To be registered, the relation must be documented, and the registration often needs to be approved by the association. Contact the person you know in the building or the association's administration for more information.
Pointer list
A list for internal residents who want to point to a new buyer or tenant when they themselves are offered a home. You can point to anyone unless otherwise stated in the association's rules, e.g., a family member or a friend.
Interest list
A list where offers are distributed according to principles other than queue and seniority. Each list has its own distribution rules, so it is a good idea to check how this list is managed.
Area interest list
A list that keeps you updated on new opportunities in a specific area. When new lists appear in the chosen area, you will receive an email from Waitly. You may also receive other relevant updates, e.g., about new features or lists with few registered. This makes it easier to find homes in areas you are interested in.
